Hi Kiddos,
For my birthday my Uncle Mac sent me the keys to the family business and encouraged me to reopen the donut shop. Although it’s been in the family for years, I never learned how to run a donut shop. My friends pointed out that I had a lot of courage to try something new. They too encouraged me to reopen the donut shop. Officer Broccoli pointed out that the community could really benefit from having a safe and positive gathering space for both kids and adults. Elisa, the Singing Telegram Girl told me she thinks this is the ideal job for me because I enjoy working with people.
I noticed that the words COURAGE and enCOURAGEment look a lot alike.
They’re
both really important. Courage is something we have inside of us. Firefighters have lots of
courage to be able to run into a
burning building to help others.
Encouragement is what we get from others.
This does wonders for building our confidence. I love being at the donut shop because everyone is so
supportive. We all have dreams
and goals and opportunities to try new things.
If we encourage each other we will all be happier and the world will be
a better place!
Let me know how you encourage your friends and family and how it helps them.
I love getting e-mails from you!
See
you soon!
