Subject: Cooperate
Hi Guys!
Mikey:
You
know, in school we learned all kinds of cool stuff like stuff about being cooperative.
That means getting along and working and playing well with other people and
stuff like that. There are things that you need to do to be a cooperative person. Like you need to listen very carefully to
people. You need to be sure you understand what they are saying. If you don’t
understand what they are saying then things go wrong.
It’s
also a really good idea to share with others because when you share
with others everyone can enjoy something instead of just you, and it’s more
fun to share than not to. One good way to share is to take turns. It’s
good to take turns when there is
something nobody wants to do, because then it goes by faster. And it’s also
good to take turns when more than one
person wants to do the same thing and only one can, because then the wait
isn’t as long. When you take turns everybody can have fun!
Maddie:
Yeah.
That’s all cool stuff that Mikey said but some other cool stuff is umm… compromise
when you have a problem. That means that you and your friend both give up
something and then the problem goes away. You can compromise by sharing
or taking turns. Those are good ways to do that. Do your part and
do it the best you can because when everyone does something it’s more fun! Show
Appreciation to people by giving them compliments and stuff. Say things like
“good job.” Danny always shows appreciation
to Bizzee Beaver, and that’s all the stuff you need to do to be a cooperative
person. Right, Rosita?

Duddie Duddie Duddie:
Maddie, I think you forgot a few things. You need to encourage people to do their best. When everyone is doing their best then everything works better. Sometimes people just need a little encouragement. And you should let people know that they’re needed because they are needed and working together is more fun if you do. You should never isolate or exclude anyone ever, ever, ever! Everyone has something important to offer and nobody likes being left out. So cooperate. It makes things more fun. Some of the things you need to do to cooperate are:
